Accommodations/Lodging Tax: As required by state and local
regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and
Air Conditioning: Units are equipped with central air
conditioning that is seasonal from late April to late November.
Currency Exchange: September 14, 2010, the amount of
foreign money that can be exchanged for pesos is no more than
US$1,500.00 per month and US 300.00 in a single transaction. Most
establishments require official identification (passport) when
exchanging US dollars for pesos (including VI Resorts). The
measure DOES NOT AFFECT purchases made with credit/debit cards or the
amount of cash withdrawn from an ATM machine.
Traveler’s Checks: October
2014, due to the diminishing use and the cost of processing, Travelers
checks will not be accepted for payment or currency exchange.

Tourist Activities: There is a travel desk located at the
resort that can book a variety of activities and tours.
Proof of Citizenship: Effective January 1, 2007, travel
to and from the USA, Mexico and Canada via air, rail or cruise will require
a valid passport. For requirements regarding citizens of other
countries, please call your local Mexican Consulate.
Minor Children Traveling to Mexico:
Single parents or passengers traveling with children under 18 years of
age must have a notarized letter of permission from both parents allowing the child to enter Mexico.
Ground Transportation: You may reserve and pre-pay your
ground transportation between the airport and Vallarta Torre. Please provide your contact
information to reserve your transfer (must
be a minimum of three days prior to your arrival), and a VI
representative will contact you shortly.
Torres is located on the beach between the Krystal Vallarta and Crown
Paradise Resort. The fiestas at the adjacent resorts can generate a
high level of noise.
Lost and Found Policy: Vacation Internationale is not responsible for lost,
damaged, or stolen personal items. Each resort keeps detailed
records of all 'found' items, and will ship them back at the owner's
expense, based upon local mail/shipping restrictions. Any items
in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within 90 days, will be
donated to a local charity or discarded.
2010/2011 Renovations. Refinishing
furniture, replace Kitchen tile, new countertop and backsplash.
2011/2012 Renovations. Continue
the renovation project in the Large Tower on Floor 2. Also, included
in the project will be repairing the chiller and maintenance for the
cooling tower, repairing balcony railings,
replacing gas piping for the Small Tower and repairing the cistern.
